Paul Caine '56

Paul Caine '56, a business administration graduate, grew up in Miles City. He had an illustrious 24-year career as a Naval Aviator. In his early service he was credited with 13 helicopter rescues, and he worked with search and rescue operations in the Tonkin Gulf during the Vietnam War. After more than 80 combat missions, Paul was selected as a recovery pilot for the Apollo 4 spacecraft. He was also a combat squadron, air group, and air wing commander. Since 1980 Paul has worked in international business. He was a founder of NAI NAFTA, a leader in labor and trade corridor studies for major global companies, helping create thousands of jobs in NAFTA countries. Paul recently joined NAI Mexico as executive managing director, and he continues to serve on the boards for many charitable and nonprofit associations in his border community. Paul and his wife, Nancy Schilling Caine ’56, live in San Diego.
